Morocco is among the cheapest family holiday destinations in the world
A recent report published by the American website (Insider Monkey) considered Morocco one of the cheapest countries in the world to spend holidays with family. The Kingdom ranks eighth in the top 10 destinations for affordable family vacations.
Insider Monkey estimated that a week’s stay in Morocco for two people would cost $935 (excluding airfare). The website adds that Morocco ranks 14th on its list of 20 countries with the lowest cost of living for American citizens. And in Africa.
Morocco was chosen by a specialized website as one of 20 countries around the world where the cost of living is cheaper for American citizens. In the specialized classification “Insider Monkey”, Morocco ranked 14th with a cost of living rate of (30.1).
The report attached to the ranking stated, “Morocco has one of the lowest costs of living for Americans, with expenses approximately 70 percent lower than in the United States.”
The Insider Monkey website ranked the countries with the lowest cost of living for Americans based on the cost of living in those countries compared to the United States. A global database, Numbeo, was used until mid-2023 to compile the list, with a reference index for the cost of living in New York City.
