Day 2: Boumalne Dades – Todra Gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert
After having breakfast at the hotel, we will be heading to Todra Gorge, at a 68 km distance from Dades Gorges, where we will stop so you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the oasis, with beautiful palm groves and amazing images with the Ksar Tinghir, also called the “Jewish Quarter”. We will continue our road by admiring one of the most spectacular canyons in the world, Todra, where you will enjoy a short walk around the area. We continue our road towards the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, which are a part of the Merzouga desert. After we arrive at the hotel in Merzouga, you will prepare for a 90-minute camel trek across the sand dunes, just in time to see how the color of the dunes changes under the fading light of the sunset. After arriving at the camp, where you will spend the night in nomadic tents, you will enjoy delicious traditional Moroccan food, next to a fire camp, while being entertained by local Berbers playing their drums.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi Merzouga Desert – Erfoud – Midelt – Azrou – Ifrane – Fes
After an early wake-up, so you can watch the sunrise while riding the camels, you will have breakfast at the hotel and leave for Fes, by passing through the Tafilalet palm grove, one of the biggest in the world. You will see thousands of palm trees at a distance of 20 km long. From here we will reach the Ziz Valley, where we will stop in order to admire the magnificent view of the region and the town of Aoufous. Before we arrive at our destination, we will be passing through Azrou, a famous Berber village located in the middle of the largest cedar forest in Morocco and the home of Barbary apes, and by the ski resort of Ifrane (the Moroccan Switzerland) built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. The 3-day desert trip will end at your hotel or riad in Fes.

The views are magnificent. Great experience, the only small flaw is that I asked for the guides in French but the group was all for English so I only had a third of explanation. Our driver Abdou is very friendly and cheerful

Very good experience, visit of varied landscapes. A good atmosphere with the different guides met as well as with the drivers. Ideal if you do not have much time in Morocco, you see a lot in three days. A big thank you to the organizer who was able to remain available throughout the stay for our questions.

Very enjoyable trip with atypical landscapes throughout the trip. The mediators are very good to visit the different places.
Our driver/guide Redouane had an exemplary and very professional behavior throughout the trip. His presence was greatly appreciated by the whole group. The food and accommodations are more than adequate.
A small downside to the food on the first day, especially in the hotel chosen for the first night of the trip (the staff are not the friendliest).
Don’t forget to choose the luxury option in Merzouga desert, this extra comfort is essential for families/couples.

An unforgettable experience! We loved this 3-day excursion in the desert. The experience was complete and very well organized, all the activities flowed smoothly. We were lucky to be with a group of the same age and left with real friends.
Thanks to our driver who drove us during the 3 days, I think we couldn’t have had a better time. Kind, attentive, cultured and funny, thank you for everything Abderrahim!

The trip from Marrakech to Fes via Erg Chebbi was an amazing once in a lifetime trip. All of the accommodations were above our expectations and the hospitality at each spot was really great. Our driver and guide was great, friendly, knowledgeable and so helpful. We always felt like we were in good hands and had a great idea of our itinerary and were given a bunch of interesting information about the history, nature, and culture. All of the driving segments were broken up in to small stretches which really helped make the time fly. I would highly recommend this trip!
