Get rid of the bustle of Marrakech and spend a relaxing day in nature, Ourika Valley is the best choice. Your Ourika Valley day trip starts at 09.00 AM from your accommodation in Marrakech. We will take the road along the valley of Ourika, then you enter through a succession of clinging mountain villages. We will stop to see wonderful landscapes full of vibrant colors as we move through the hillsides, between red and green terraces and rocks. Our first stop will be in a traditional house of a Berber family who lives in the valley. You will find out how families live authentically here by practicing a medieval agricultural tradition and you will be treated like special guests, the family will offer us tea and serve us their local breakfast which consists of bread, honey, butter, and olive oil.
You can relax at the coffee shops near the river or walk with a local guide to see the beautiful streams and 7 waterfalls, cliffs, and green valleys. For this, you need comfortable shoes for hiking. After the hike we go back for lunch in a nice restaurant with a beautiful view over the mountains, lunch will be composed of a variety of traditional Moroccan foods. Then we return to Marrakech around 06.30 PM.

The activity was well organized and the guide Hafid was adorable. The visits before arriving at the Ourika Waterfalls as well as the meal by the river were great. The path before arriving at the waterfall is sporty but quite doable especially with the magnificent view all along.

I took a day trip to the Ourika Valley from Marrakech with guide Ali and driver Hassan, and had a great time. Ali provided a comfortable ride to the valley, and Hassan shared a lot of interesting information about the area and local culture. The scenery was stunning, and we were able to enjoy the mountains, rivers, and a bit of coolness outside the city. This day was a great way to see another side of the region. Thanks to Hassan and Ali for this great outing!

Very nice hike, beautiful region in the middle of nature: river, waterfall. The road to get there is very beautiful. The visit to the Berber house was very interesting for the children.
