Elvin Hsu –
Abdou has to be the best tour operator we’ve ever worked with. Responsive yet also proactive, he followed up with us regarding our trip throughout the difficult pandemic year and kept the channels of communication going despite the country being under lockdown. This was very reassuring to us. He also kept following up with our progress, and soliciting for feedback during our trip to make sure we were enjoying our time. Who does that? With most operators you have a hard time getting a hold of once you send in that last payment. We had the good fortune of working with an exceptional driver, Mourad, who was a great source of information. In fact I have requested that Mourad work with my sister and BIL when they visit Morocco in a couple of months. We loved the Hotel Tildi. Must try their lamb tagine with the apricots, pear, and prunes. What a fabulous combination. There were a few hiccups with the accommodation in Fez, but it was due to lack of communication on the hotel end. Our tour guide Ali was a trooper. He stuck with us the entire 7 hours for our walking tour of Marrakech. We were all tired, but he was very professional to the very end.
