Day 1. Marrakech – Tizi n’Tichka Pass – Telouet – Ait Ben Haddou – Ouarzazate – Valley of the Roses – Dades Gorge – (324 km –6 h)

The luxury desert trip will begin with an early pick-up from your accommodation in Marrakech, at around 7:30 a.m. The journey will take you over the High Atlas Mountains, where we will cross the Tizi N’Tichka pass (2260 m in altitude). And pay a visit to Telouet Kasbah, After several stops along the way, you will arrive at an important point of your trip where you will visit the UNESCO World Heritage site Ksar Ait Ben Haddou, which is the location of numerous Hollywood successful movies (Gladiator, Prince of Persia, Game of Thrones, etc.) After lunch, we will be heading to Ouarzazate, known as “The Gate of the Sahara”. We continue our trip to the most prominent of the oasis valleys that dominate southern Morocco, Dades Valley or “The Valley of One Thousand Kasbahs”, via the Valley of the Roses and the city of Skoura with its immense palm groves, And take amazing photos in Dades Gorge. Spend your night in the amazing hotel in Dades Gorge. Enjoy your dinner there.

Day 2: Dades Gorge – Tinghir – Todra gorge – Erfoud – Merzouga Desert – (270 km -4 h)

After having breakfast at the hotel, we will be heading to Tinghir and Todra Gorge, at a 45 km distance from Dades Gorge, where we will stop so you can enjoy the breathtaking landscapes of the oasis, with beautiful palm groves and amazing images with the Ksar Tinghir, also called the “Jewish Quarter”. We will continue our road by admiring one of the most spectacular canyons in the world, Todra, where you will enjoy a short walk around the area. We continue our road towards the captivating dunes of Erg Chebbi, which are a part of the Merzouga desert. After we arrive at the hotel in Merzouga, you will prepare for a 90-minute camel trek across the sand dunes, just in time to see how the color of the dunes changes under the fading light of the sunset. After arriving at the camp, where you will spend the night in luxury nomadic tents, you will enjoy delicious traditional Moroccan food, next to a fire camp, while being entertained by local Berbers playing their drums.

Day 3: Erg Chebbi – (Merzouga Desert) – Erfoud – Midelt Azrou – Ifrane – Fes – (470 km- 7 h)

After an early wake-up, so you can watch the sunrise while riding the camels, you will have breakfast at the luxury camp and leave for Fes, by passing through the Tafilalet palm grove, one of the biggest in the world. You will see thousands of palm trees at a distance of 20 km long. From here we will reach the Ziz Valley, where we will stop in order to admire the magnificent view of the region and the town of Aoufous. Before we arrive at our destination, we will be passing through Azrou, a famous Berber village located in the middle of the largest cedar forest in Morocco and the home of Barbary apes, and by the ski resort of Ifrane (the Moroccan Switzerland) built by the French in the 1930s to resemble a Swiss village. The 3-day luxury desert trip will end at your hotel or riad in Fes.

We travelled from Marrakech to fes through Ait Ben Haddon & Merzouga taking a minivan for our group of 8 (2families) was a great idea and Abdou was a great driver, He is happy all the time, stop in the best places and available to satisfy our requests. Also the preparation of the trip and the exchange of Emails with Dounia was quick and clear and the price honest you go to Morocco & prefer not to drive, contact them.
