Teams of young men and women began roaming the streets of the city of Marrakesh, wearing white T-shirts with the phrase “Ask me for free” written on them, to provide guidance services to tourists.

This activity, called “Tourist Guides,” is part of an innovative project of the International Union of Inventors, in the city of Marrakesh, one of the most important tourist cities in Morocco.

The tourist guidance team provides its free services at two different periods during the day, as it works in the morning from 9 am to 3 pm, and in the evening from 3 pm to 9 pm.

The tourism guidance team has been stationed in vital places in the city, such as Jemaa El Fna Square, the train station, and Marrakesh Menara Airport, where they provide free services to tourists, including assistance in searching for hotels and appropriate means of transportation, and directing them to the most important tourist attractions and traditional markets.

This initiative aims to provide important assistance and services to tourists free of charge and without financial compensation, by providing the necessary information and support in organizing the trip schedule and guiding tourists to learn about the city’s beauties.

According to what the President of the International Federation of Inventors, Abdelaziz Mestawi, told Kash24, the project to guide tourists in Marrakesh to a new baby needs support and encouragement, to contribute to enhancing the experience of tourists in the city and enhancing positive relations between them and the city’s residents.

Mestawi added that this project has a positive interaction with tourists of different nationalities, and contributes to enhancing the image of the city of Marrakesh as an innovative and hospitable tourist destination.
